Leaded Fuel

Hi all,
If anyone is near the north Essex area I've found a garage selling leaded fuel, it's a bit pricey but the old girl does deserve a treat from time to time, the garage is in Stebbing which is near Braintree, the name of the garage is Oak Service Station and I'm pretty sure the name of the road is Braintree Road, the road runs alongside the A120, the garage owner advised me to call ahead to check availability of the fuel so I'm sure they can give you directions from wherever it is you'll be coming from if you phone them, the phone number is 01371 820227, I've run my 2000SC on it with no additive and it really did make a difference, less overrun and just a tad more spritely under load, hope this helps.

From memory, a google search will provide a list of garages that supply leaded. I remeber having to look at this to plan any longish journeys in my old Dolomite Sprint which detested unleaded fuel. I used to use a petrol statin next to Becontree station in Dagenham ... I had heard the old boy who run it had been mugged and assaulted one too many times and has closed. As such I cannot vouch for him still being in Dagenham.

I know this is a late reply, but thats the station garage you are on about. Thats still there, but the little shop has closed and the fuel pumps have been removed now around 6 months ago. Its a forecourt now for used cars. I wouldnt bother seeking out the Becontree area garage anymore.
