Hi, the leather in my car is quite good, although it is quite hard. I was going to feed it with some conditioner but am unsure what the best to use is that won't stain it, any recomendations? It is black leather. :)
Thanks, Phil.

A lot of people rave about that Gliptone stuff but I would use some proper hide food from a saddlers until you get it nice & then just top it up with gliptone or autoglym

1st you will need a really good cleaner,as if its gone that hard, the food wont get through.
Your best bet is to go to your local horse tack supplier and get some cleaner and hide food, its normally cheaper that halfords or motor shops!
Cleaner is best applied with a fine wire wool to agitate the crud.
You could always get a kit from Woolies trim restoration.

Brilliant stuff and easy to use,i bought a full refurb kit and did a test clean on my office chair before doing my car seats!

I used gliptone cleaner and conditioner on my Lexus after it was highly recommended by a well known classic car magazine. All I will say is that the results were not as good in my opinion as Autoglym products, and the smell was almost unbearable. It smelt like a stable inside for weeks. If you like the smell of horses, you will be fine, but I found it overpowering and ended up trying to clean it off!

i used autoglym leather cleaner and then used the autoglym leather balm and it come up a treat,i now just feed it once a year and the results are brilliant :D
