PILKIES CLASSIC CAR NUTS///P6'ers MEET 2011. :D :D
Last year a few of us P6'rs,and a couple of TR'rs met up and lined up on display alongside the arena!
I managed to get 2 other elderly p6 owners to join us,one with a gorgeous 4000mile from new 1971 V8!
Think the turn out was a total of 6x P6's and 3x TR's.
Would be great to do it again this year and maybe get 12 cars.
You can book in or turn up and pay on the gate.

I hope you're not referring to me as the other one pilkie! Although you would have good reason to.... :D

This day's definitely high on my list...providing I get my finger out and get Occie mobile again!

i dave where can i get some information to book in have you got the website i am hoping to come again this year in the p6

We've got some friends coming over from Hull that weekend ...... and they wont fit in the TR  So we're coming in the P6.

Looking forward to it!

Bri.

I reckon I'll be able to make it down so count me in - it's the day before my car goes in for paint so it will have to be back in one piece by then!

I'll see if Adamhotrod wants a lift too.

I might head down from Birmingham if I can get the front wing back on in time :)

Fingers crossed. 8)

Jim.

HEADS UP!!!

Just to remind anyone going that the day to book is the sunday!
I will be there 1st thing in order to try and secure a ringside spot,as its 1st come 1st served.
I have now got a BIG Rover P6 club banner from Mark Gray for the display.
If I cannot secure a ringside spot I will do the best I can,and will make up some signs for you and any P6 owners to follow to locate the spot.

Hope to see LOTS of you there!! :)

PS???
If you are attending could you pop me a quick pm with the word [me] so I can guage numbers and get enough parking spots.

Did you not see the link to the website you asked for gareth??
Its £3 if you pre book or £7 on the gate on the day,the day to go is Sunday.

I will do my best to get us a pitch on the arena side like last time or at least close,so head for the arena and look out for Connor!
Gonna have me dinner and then look again.

Hi all.
A good turn out of 5 cars for our club and invited another 5 from the P6 Rover owners club to tack on the end of the line up.
Weather was a bit misty and fresh to start but cleared up ok.
Not the best event, fewer classic in general than expected, but as they had to change the date and it was a bank hol not bad.
And to top off the day we won runner up best club stand!! :D :D
WELL CHUFFED!! 8)
Paul has a pic of us so will post it when he can.

But heres a pic of the line up.

4 of us ventured into the show ring when the 1970's class was called..

Stan and I were both drooling over this Jensen,it won its class!! MMM!!

Apologies for my not making it, I hadn't realised it was Easter Sunday. Family beat car show for me today, but it looked like a great day :)
