happy days

The 2nd show is being held on 24th & 25th March 2012 @ Event City which is beside the Trafford Centre, went along last year to see if it was any good and had a good day. Anyone popping along shouldnt be disappointed. Would be good to see some forum members their.

I was going to ask whether anyone was going the other day, but forgot! Should be there big-ends-dependent!! :D

In which case, I shall definitely get there. I could do with a few cheap oil filters for running the engine in. A fan belt would come in handy too...!

Sorry Mick, I won't see you there as I'm at the 1st Northwest Car Fest at Myerscough College on the 25th, they are showing their motorsport stuff, so should be interesting.

Nope, it's 6 miles north of Preston on the A6 to Bilsborrow, then left a bit. The Preston Supercar meet is going as well as other Motorsport clubs, it's free but they are raising money for charity (organisation for anti convulsant syndromes) and suggest £3 to enter.

Steve Benyon is the man to contact over the show at Event City, I know Mark gray asked me if I'd like to take 'Chatterbox' along on the club stand, so had her out and cleaned last weekend, though her interior still leaves a bit to be desired. She wont be one of these concourse winners but a good honest well used P6 she is. Going to try and get her MOT'd later this week, if she fails I'll get her trailered over to event city one way or another.

Should be fun

Back in now from the show, great show which is getting bigger and bigger. Pleased to say our stand and cars had alot of attention, we met alot of interesting people. This is my first indoor event showing my car, I didnt realise the amount of work which goes into putting this together, from getting to the event, putting the stand together, meeting and greeting everyone on the stand for the 2 full days , to dismantling everything, putting it away and getting back home and we only live 15 mins from the event, so hats off to Mark and Angie Gray and Steve Benyon, who manage all this like a well oiled V8, very smooth, I would also say from Mrs Happy Days and myself thanks to Chris and Ian for a fantastic weekend. Only downside was we didnt get much time for pics of other cars  Nice to see some forum members as well. Thanks Guys
