Anyone travelling to Beamish, we are going up on Sunday morning anyone wanting to meet up en route is more than welcome to join us.

:LOL: I,m all ready I think broke down again today only been on the road a week and everytime I leave the house I come back with dirty hands. Fan belt went today but man have you tried getting one from a factor??? Not for love nor money I have sqeezed on a 13x1300 belt not great but lets hope it holds out for the journey from York
Look forward to coming this is my first meet with the club.

Already here Mick just a couple of miles away from Beamish in a nice hotel. after the 200 mile run. Had a superb carvery at the local Toby. Breakfast booked for 8am
Now in hotel room with a nice glass or two of red wine.
We have driven up in 'Freda' the Burgundy South African built 3500 auto, ( as seen on Car SOS).

Staying near the centre of town. Vanessa didn't miss a beat, despite hardly turning a wheel in the last 6 months, cobwebs well and truely shaken out.

Back from Beamish now, Barry and Andy have done it again, good show guys well done, sorted the weather again for us as well.
Well done to everyone who managed to get their and make it a good day.
A special thanks for Janet Thompson and her team for all the work they put in as well.
Oh that cake was lovely.
 
Yes - a great rally & a big thank-you to the organisers & helpers. I do similar tasks myself & do understand just how much work goes into these events.

I was shocked :shock: to get 3rd placed series 1 (first time I've ever got anything like that) & then to receive the Chairman's Choice award was unbelievable :shock: :shock: . A big thank-you again to Mark & all those who voted!
 
Deserved awards Phil, all the work you put into your cars is being noted and appreciated by all in the know. Well done Mate. A nice pic of you wearing it on your chest might be in order , or on the car if you prefer.
 
Sound like a good day was had by all and I'm sorry I missed it this year. Have any photos been posted up yet?
 
I wish that I'd gone, but, alas, funds didn't permit. Sounds like a good day was had by all, and from the photos I've seen, quite a few interesting cars!
