Master cylinder

Hello all. I'm losing brake fluid and afraid it's the master cylinder. It leaks through the metal body, some point near the pushing rod nut.

As this car was never sold here it's not easy to find spares. My idea is to overhaul the master cylinder. To do so I would like to know what cars have the same rubbers and seals so I could use these parts for my car (P6 2200 SC 1973).

Of course as the last solution I would ask the exact spares to England, but for the time being it is easier to find the solution here.

I think the master cylinder is the same as a conteporary Land Rover (which is usually easier to find parts for) But the last one I replace, I took in to my local brake specialist and went through their books looking at picture 'til I found the right one. What I bought actually had a plastic reservoir attached but this unbolted without fuss. Alternatively, there should be brake specialists in your neighbourhood who can resleeve the cylinder in stainless steel and will rebuild it all for you. It is not the cheapest way but the cylinder will be better than new and last for years.
