This looks like a very good project for someone. Certainly looks pretty straight, though faded, and the interior is sufficiently fresh, that I could almost believe that the mileage is genuine. I'd say it's definitely worth going to view for someone after a project. Not tax exempt, which may put people off, and there is evidence of damp, so it'll need checked thoroughly. Doesn't look like it has been messed about though! Seems unfortunate that it has lost its keys!

I once lost my keys for a week.
Didn't stop me driving it.

Could be awkward if you restored it only for the real owner to appear and claim it was taken without their permission.
"Scrapman told me a little old lady gave it to him" isn't going to be much of a defence.

I'd certainly ask for a sale receipt from the widow and the scrap yard before collecting, but it doesn't seem too bad. Might be worth a look..

Tell you what, even if i was going to look at a mega priced, only driven to tescos by a lil old lady P6, Id be prodding and poking EVERYWHERE!
Maybe thats what i should have done with mine.
Fank gawd I didnt pay an arm and a leg for it.
 
Looks like it has maybe been off road for 25 years!
What is the situation with a car that has been off the road for a very long time and never SORN'd? Even if the owner had the V5C from the 1970s or 80s, would it maybe be invalid by now?
