My boot won’t open.

What did they do in the factory?
If the boot got stuck just have a angle grinder ready to cut the boot to bits

Calibrator,
If all else fails you can park it overnight outside my old house in Barnet.
In the morning, the boot will be popped and all 4 doors open. You may also have lost the wheels as well.
Unfortunately, I’m speaking from experience.
Good luck.
Paul.

I came out one morning and found the car open and the steering wheel missing.....

That made for an interesting drive to work.

Luckily for me I had another steering wheel, and the scumbags left all the tools they used inside the car when they left, including a Snap-On multibit screwdriver, so it was a pretty good result all round for me.

Did it have one of those furry covers on it with big eyes pictured the other day ?
Look for a local P6 owner...
Reminds me of a time working at a guys house we removed these huge ornate metal front gates as the drive was being re located. They were stacked in the front yard.
Couple of days later.... yup gone !
They only re appear 10 miles south at the entrance to a traveller site, right on the main road !

The owner declined to get them back fearing reprisals.

Very likely your wheel is on another car, or ebay.

It has occurred to me that on Sparky, and presumably on other P6s, there is a panel in the middle of the boot floor. This is riveted in so can be fairly easily removed. Of course you will have a boot carpet to content with and anything in the boot, but might be better than destroying the boot lid.
