Close to my fuse board I have some mystery leads:-

1 unused female bullet connector, green/brown wire- top, facing camera
1 unused female bullet connector, red/yel heavy wire -pointing downwards

Any ideas please? Not aware of anything that doesnt work. 74 S2, manual.

Hi,
The two Blue/yellow go down to each side of the front light area for auxiliary lights.
The red/yellow is the fog light pick up from the main light switch.
Could the green/brown possibly be brown/green?
The fact it's female suggests it's a power feed, the same as the red/yellow is. If the main colour is brown it's battery power and if it's green it's fused ignition.
Traditionally fog light is only fitted one side.

Fogs on the R/Y makes sense - item 25 on my circuit. only N/G I can find is heater fan, and that works. Only G/N I see is reverse lights, and they work...??

Hi, The fact it's a female bullet as I said suggests it's a power feed. Is there power there? It could be a feed from the heater switch for use with air con?

I can't recall the colours but there are two heavy wires up there; one is air conditioning and the other for power windows. The air con system actually has two feeds, one for the fan and one for the compressor clutch.

The 1968 manual has the full circuit diagram which includes both options.

The female connectors are actually Bullets (male) connectors with a double ended female connected on one end. You can get a special pair of plyers for removing and installing them without damaging your fingers...
