NEW AIR - CON FASCIA PLATES FOR SALE

hi all air -conditioning car people,
as we all know, the fascia plate is usually broken. hopefully by thursday of next week i shall see the first prototype as they say. i was going to get these made and sell them when i had the business, now i no longer have it. as soon as i see the prototype i will get a picture posted for all of you to see. the reason i have all the NADA bits for sale is wins international did not want that side and has let me sell those bits through what ever means, i.e. here and ebay etc.

Now on topic. Yes, the fascia plate is broken and I'm interested in any pictures you can provide in due course. In the other NADA that arrived last week it's also shot (incl. interior, floorpan, doorcards etc. etc. etc). I can e-mail you some pictures if you're interested.

Good luck then, I was just looking at the possibilities for emigrating myself. I don't the wife was too keen on the idea though! I suffer very badly in the winter and the thought of moving somewhere with a better climate appeals immensely.

well finally we have the finished product. I shall post a picture up, hopefully later today, sunday. the guy that had them done was not interested in getting them done for making a profit, just two for his two cars. he has paid for the tooling costs and does not want any thing for doing so. I also don't want anything out of this, these shall be at what cost the company that has done them wants, no other middlemen. I had his address and phone number given to me yesterday ( Saturday ) I could not contact him, so will wait until Monday to find out if it is ok for me to post his phone number on here, so that who ever wants one can contact him directly and order one. I will also find out the cost and if he will do them as and when someone wants one or if he maybe say wants to make a batch of ten or what ever and then let you all know.

like I said I am not interested in making any money, just want to give a little back to help people that need them.

as promised, the new fascia plate. if you look at the left hand side of the window switch opening and a little on the top, it is only the flash and not see through.

Im intrigued . Looks great too .
Is this all one piece ? Mine is in two pieces i.e. the grill is separate from the control panel .
Mine is still in great condition , but has small cracks around the screw holes probably from compression over its 40yrs of service .
I now have to replace my panel coz yours looks better .
Im very anal and although the cracks are minute , they're still there . Do I have any friends out there that understand this pedantic way of being , or am I a poor sad bastard .
 
You're right Gerald, I would be interested in a spare. Just waiting to hear the price... They are supposed to be in one piece but they almost never are, due to the grille part being attached by a few 2mm wide bits of plastic!

It is down in the lounge under oesophagus cancer, unfortunately it was bad news last Thursday, It is terminal, it has spread to my liver and blood. that is why I am giving back and do not want to make any money on these fascia plates. just helping out for those like me who have a knackered one.

you can have 100 made @ £75.00 per item

or 20 made @ £90.00 per item

or individually @ £130.00 per item

the decision is down to you as like I said I have mine and do not want to have any thing to do with these in a nice way.

I think you need to get together and probably use one of you that is prepared to take orders for them and say get the 20 made @ the £75.00 each

For the non-aircon w/electric windows? I"ll be a part of that. If for more aircon & electric window plates, I think my father will want one for his long-term-after-retirement project :D

Do we have to supply standard panels? If got a few wandering around my stock.
 
I think I will be putting up with the small cracks around the screw holes on mine . The Pnd to $ exchange and my very basic income funds would send Mrs Miller into a shoe buying frenzy .
It does look very good though and is surely tempting .
Thanks for the good work youve put into this Ian , but I'll fence sit on this one .
