New battery needed- suggestions?

Hi,

need a new battery for my 1976 2200TC. Any thoughts on this? Is there a particular type favoured/recommended?

075 if i remember correctly. Look on eurocarparts website and do click and collect and they usually have something for around £50. They charge more if you go buy instore.
 
I bought the P6 club recommended budget buy battery last year. This is a match for it as far as I can see, listed for a Transit as was mine. A bit less than I paid here too.

Mines under the bonnet & the leads reached the terminals with no problem even though the terminals were reversed to my previous battery. Just turned it through 180°.

I have a bosch 065 . It is a physically smaller battery but fits the box where others have gotten stuck.

Worth trying before you buy for fit.

I only fit bosch batteries to my cars, cheap ones don't seem to last longer than the guarantee.

I've had to file some extrusions of the outside of the 075 batteries so thats a great thought.... 065 sounds like the way to go?
