new front disc suppliers

Long story short, where can I get (preferably in Australia) new front discs for a P6b?

I see prices varying from 45 pounds through to 73, so I'm wondering what the difference is (only Unipart makes them by the look of it?)

Not sure exactly as I have not as yet had call to source new discs myself. You could try see if Repco have a listing or PBR brakes through their website, I looked on DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) website but it returned a "not found" after a search.
I usually deal with Perth Brake Parts here in the west, I'll give them a ring tomorrow as see what they list.
Bosch may have a listing for them, again probably through Repco, Autobarn, Supercheapauto etc
Good luck.

I looked for some new brake discs for my Rover 2000 a few years ago. I ended up finding some serviceable used ones, having them turned on a lathe, and then using those. Power Brakes, Gillies plains (SA) did quote. Their price would make you feel that you owned every piece of the brake disc.

Do a search here and you may find a discussion about using Ford Transit rotors as a substitute. Perhaps they might be available in Australia.

Do you know anyone going to the UK soon? Wadhams has them for 45 pounds.

James.

Sorry for not replying sooner, Perth brake parts had a listing after check with their warehouse and came back with $75 each and said they were IBF brand, so maybe an independent brake specialist near you may be able to track something down??
Check yellow pages for brake parts suppliers near you??

Sorry ewokracing, he used to have them. All I can suggest is finding useable second-hand ones. I have two old car bodies that might have suitable discs. I could measure them for you if you can send the specifications.
