Hi there,

New Member to this Forum

Own a 1972 P6 3500S called ' Regan'

Live near Woodbridge in Suffolk

Always had Classics, but had VW Camper Van for 11 years
Before that.

Love my Rover and the presence it has on the road, oh and the 20mins to fill up half a tank of fuel :)

welcome to the forum. Nice car :) On the fuel filling front try turning the nozzle round so that it goes 'with' the curve in the fuel pipe. Not so painful then :)

Rich

Welcome

As Rich says, turning the fuel filler nozzle so the trigger is pointing over towards the rear screen and not squeezing too hard will help. Generally takes me no longer than 5 mins to fill the old girl :D

Your picture looks quite dark, is that Mexico Brown with Huntsman?

Dave

Hi Rich and Dave

Thanks for the advice, only had him since August 2014, still getting used those quirks that make it such a great car.

In answer to Dave's question - correct on both counts, Mexico Brown with Huntsman

Keeping him out and about over winter, is there nothing better than the smell of a warm P6?!

You're very close to me and in fact I saw and photographed your car at the Suffolk Aviation Heritage Group show in October. I was there with my Tobacco Leaf 2200SC. We'll have to have a meet up of local P6 owners this year.

Your both about 3/4 of a hour away from me. when the summer gets here it would be good to meet up
half way between us all. It would be good to have a meeting of p6s somewhere and in fact any other Rover
that would like to join in.

Hey Suffolk Pete and Dave

Good to hear from you, I remember meeting you Suffolk Pete at the Show at Foxhall, I think we followed you back up the A12 for a while.

Great idea to meet in the Summer, either of you doing the Ipswich to Felixtowe run this year?

Look forward to the Summer :)

I don't usually do the Felixstowe run, it's usually heavily over-subscribed and I can never get my application in on time. April 26th is the FBHVC Drive It Day and the East Anglian Practical Classics Club is planning a trip to the Flixton Aviation Museum at Bungay. That might be a good time to meet. I'll PM you, Dave and Guy when I get more details.

Wecome!
Now stop posting pics. I want that one :D.

Edit: oh. it's a "her" they all are, despite their names
