Wow!
Welcome to the forum. Sage Green is a ridiculously rare colour. I can only claim to have seen two in my time - one a TC which for a while was in repose in Jim Brown's yard and used to belong to Simon Hill, the other a Three Thousand Five which belonged to Colin Vaughan.
Cheers
Nick
Hi Nick.
really? well...but why is or was the colour sage green so rare or unpopular?-...especially green is a very common "english colour"...as all non-british-people think...
Looking through the production logs it's interesting that some of the advertised colours were almost non-existent. I think particularily of April Yellow, supposedly available in the UK from 1968. It must have been special order only as when I went through the '425' (Series I Three Thousand Five) books a while ago I only actually came across ONE, whereas there were loads of them in colours like Burnt Grey (of which PAE is a rare survivor).
There were loads of Arden Green Three Thousand Fives. It's an ultimate P6 colour. Looks superb.
I don't know how many Sage Green cars there were, but it cannot of been that many, compared with other shades.
