Hello.

Thought I would post up a picture of ARJ163L in its new home and say hello to everyone. Just picked it up today and can't stop thinking about all the jobs I want to do.

No.1 on the list is to fix the distributor and return the borrowed unit.

Greetings from the U.S. Great first picture to post. I love the design of that grill. Strange, but here in the U.S. I don't think that design would have never made it on a car as we seem to be too hung up on symmetry. In other words, some MBA executive type would be asking "Why aren't all the little boxes on the same level?" It adds to the look of the P6, very aggressive, in my opinion.

Welcome Brannigan you are now my closest forum neighbour hope to see you out and about sometime, local events :D

Hello Paul , welcome , this is the forum for the p6 ! Car looks nice and menacing in it's new home . Good luck with it :D

Hello Paul & welcome. I'm in Paisley just a few miles from Colin. Sounds like you both had a bit of an adventure getting ARJ ready for her trip to Dundee :) .
Please keep us posted on ARJ's new exploits. Is this your first P6?

You will spoil that car. You will find loads of stuff on the Projct thread about it inc photos which are a bit like a horror story.

Nice clean Garage, puts mine to shame.

Welcome to the forum.
Colin

Welcome aboard Paul - you have a car that should be rust free for a good while.

Thanks to all for the welcome.

I can't credit for the clean garage as it was only finished by the builders a couple of weeks ago. Give me 12 months and I'm sure it will look much more like a battlefield.

This is my first P6 (my first classic in fact) so it should be an interesting experience. Once I start work on the car I'll start a thread to keep everyone up to date on progress.

Welcome to the forum Paul

Dundee is still officially my home town, though I've not lived there for years. It's where I saw my first P6 many years ago too :D so good to see another one finding a home there.

That garage will never stay that clean once you get into all the little jobs, and with all the work Colin has done there shouldn't be anything major for a while.

Dave

Welcome from Edinburgh.

I hope you enjoy your first classic, the P6 is a great/the best choice.
