New V8 member

Hi there,

I've just bought my first P6 tonight, I'm no stranger to classics but this is my first Rover and my first V8.

I was looking for a cheap winter run around and what better than a V8!

The car is really solid, drives beautifully and has 12 months MOT, plus it will be tax free from next April. There's a couple of bits of bodywork to tidy up, the leather needs restoring plus I need to fit belts in the back for the kids but she's generally in fine fettle.

I paid £1100 which i was happy to pay but I suppose time will tell (fingers crossed!)

I haven't actually got it yet as the seller is putting a new mot on early next week but I couldn't sleep last night and can't wait to get started on it!

I saw that beast on eBay and I have to say that looked remarkable value...!!! I do love Lunar Grey so I am a tad jealous of you sir!
