Hello my name is Mark, I live in Cornwall & this is my P6 2200sc which i spent a year restoring. When i bought her she had been vandalised along the N/S & involved in a hit & run while parked at the previous owners house.i had to repair various bodge repairs from previous years (including a welding patch from floor to sill & cover plating to both rear floor/sill areas & also i had to straighten o/s inner wing (from hit & run) fitted new wings to rear, repaired n/s/f door & full respray. Now my daily driver & still fixing items that raise there head like fuel tank which i done today.Somewhere in her past someone joined the tank breathers together & it sucked the tank in & split a seam.Still would not be without her EVER. I have owned two previously over the years first was a Mk1 2000tc 1970 & second a Mk2 2000tc 1972,i sold them both before they became an asset & thought i would never be able to afford another & then this one came along not tax exempt (which i would have liked as my wifes Minor is)but younever know it may get there one day. Cheers Mark.

I would appreciate any info on what stickers go where under the bonnet as all mine are missing.Thank you

Hi Mark,

welcome & you car looks good. Nice to see that you have managed to save a P6 from the scrapper and put her into daily use. Love the colour (Almond??).

I will take some pictures of my 75 2200TC under bonnet stickers and post them soon (or should that be dreckly :D ).

Here are some pics of my 75 2200TC sticker locations.
Not 100% sure if their locations are correct but it may help.
More detailed pics of actual stickers to follow.

Here are detailed pics of my stickers.

All the stickers make sense to me apart from the one I have labelled "Other Sticker". I am not sure what this info is. Can anyone explain please :?:

Thanks for the comments & the pics that helps a lot. In answer to quattro yes i did do all the work myself, got some pics of it in various stages. The pics are just what i needed JVY thanks for that. The 72 2000tc i owned was Almond & when i saw this i thought it was too but it is actually Turmeric Yellow. You have nice looking cars too, nice to find somewhere with like minded people. :D

Nice to see a late registered car do you know the built date?

Tumeric is one of the colours shared with the first SD1's out of the Yellows it is one of my favourites.

Very nice distinctive car, I much prefer that shade of yellow to Almond, which reminds me of custard.

Welcome to the forum. Lovely car and lovely colour :)

Will.

Nicely done, looks like a superb job.

Now we do like pics, especially of rebuilds 8)

fantastic pictures Magic, can you post some more?

R Reg is the latest for most of the last P6s

MET POLICE stockpiled a fair few as they wanted to keep the P6s on the road rather than get SD1s, those P6s ended up as S Regs - love to know where they are now :D

Hi, sorry been away for a few days Beaulieu AJ . I will sort some of the resto photos out when i get a few minutes & upload them. Does any one know if the square bush on gear selector shaft is available as mine is worn (not one on bottom of lever the one on gearbox end) & on a long run the rattle gets really anoying. If it isnt i will have to machine one but would be cheaper to buy i would think if it is available. Cheers Mark

Mark, how did you diagnose your gear selector bush problem please? I have a similar annoying rattle and wondered if selector bushes could be the problem. Was it obvious that yours was worn? Obviously, I would be keen to source any parts if mine turns out to have the same problem.
