I was shown around this car back in the spring and was very impressed. Actually, I wasn't, I was depressed by how crumbly it made mine look!
Price might seem on the high side, but it would cost a lot more than that to bring a rough one up to the same standard.

Hi,
i just bought it in december

Hi Kevin
If you want to, you can email the chassis number to me direct to editor@p6club.com and I will check the build date for you, just to make sure that the information you have is correct.

For everyone else's information, if a car is built on or after 1st January 1973, it will not be given tax exempt status by DVLA.
I have also tried to get No. 11 Downing Street, to agree to a special exemption for one particular historic car built after 1972 and the answer was a definitive 'no way'.

There'll be someone new in there soon so you can ask again

Does anyone know the reason why they have decided on a build date of 1st January 1973 as the cut-off point?

When the present Labour lot got elected in 1997 they stopped the rolling 25 year exemption, & it happened to be 1972/3 as the cut off. The black number plate cut off of 31.12.72 (& probably other rules) probably made it tidy to have this date also for the exemption.

Ah, good theory and answer! I wasn't aware that the 25 rolling exemption had finished until recently!
