Noise when cornering

When turning right I get a low pitched rumble noise coming from the front nearside,I have replaced the wheel bearing though the existing one was renewed a few hundred miles ago by the previous owner,I have examined the hub and stub axel for damage, wear, etc but everything APPEARS to be O.K.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomena? ???

Have you checked all the other wheel bearings - I had a simialr sound with another type of car years ago - was one of the rear bearings, slightest mark on bearing wall as only thing we could see wrong - and the noise seemed to come from the front!

hi tony, just a possibility, but, have you got front mud flaps fitted?? they can make an awful noise when cornering, especially if a damper is a bit soft on one side! worth a check!! dave :)
