**NOW SORTED** FITTING LOWER REAR WINDOW/DECK SEAL

Can anyone please share with me the method/knack for fitting the rear window lower deck panel rubber seal? I have got the corners seated ok, but the straight part is proving difficult without damaging the seal! Any suggestions welcomed, thank you....

Re: FITTING LOWER REAR WINDOW/DECK SEAL

Hi Liam.
I presume you have removed the rear deck panel??
Getting it warm will help it form to shape!
Will it not fit in the groove of its retaining strip?
Pop round/call me,I am playing with mine!

Now sorted, thanks Dave, I had not realised the deck panel had to be removed first to fit it!

Sorry for laughing

I bet we can all kick ourselves when the solution to a problem is given!
Learning about how a cars parts go together is all part of the fun of owning classics!
I still have occasions when I think to myself! "What a pillock I am  ", when the obvious way of doing it is either explained to me, or I eventually work it out after many frustrating minutes or even hours! :)

Glad ive just stripped my previous project for spares prior to the arrival of my 2000tc on Saturday so I now have half an idea how these p6s are put together :)
