Number Plate Spacing

I purchased these number plates from an well known internet site.

Can I please as members and all who view them are they the correct spacing or have I wasted my money.

Or is it just me because there is only one number in the plate and it don't look correct ?

They look alright to me. is the the gap between the H and 1 you're unsure about? Nice example of kerning there.

IIRC legally that gap should be a minimum of 1.125", which is what it looks to be.

One of my cars has a plate ........ 1C

The plates were made up in the 80's, are fully legal, and the spacing looks exactly like yours, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Somehwere, you should be able to find a set of measurements, bearing in mind that the font size, and I think spacing etc., changed when the latest style was introduced, ie AA 51 AAA etc. as there were more digits to fit on the plate.
