Occasional judder from auto box

Hi guys, a while since I've been on here but been busy setting up the wedding car business & other stuff too as some of you will be aware.
Anyway I need to pick some brains ( Harvey it's probably you) I now own a P5 V8 auto & I know the selector linkage needs adjusting as there is no first manually available, however I have an occasional judder & slip when the box changes from top to second when cornering at low speeds. Is this likely to be adjustment only or is there a common issue?
Also sometimes seems to vibrate when driving & other times its ok,seems if I'm gentle on the throttle it's all ok but give it some stick & it's more likely to be a problem. I have replaced prop jus as they were buggered.
Any help great fully received

Set that correctly before doing anything else. There are lengths for the selector rods in the WM, but IIRC the figures are incorrect in the P5 book so disregard them and set them by trial and error until correct. Then set the fluid level correctly.

The "when cornering" could indicate low fluid level. Otherwise it might be a front band or servo problem.

Judder at wider throttle openings could be the kickdown cable disconnected, or set with too much slack so the line pressures are too low. Other than that it could be a front clutch seal failing and losing pressure.

Sort the easy things first. (Linkage and fluid level).
