Open top V8 still for sale

The price is high too IMHO... My reasoning is that if it had a proper hood it would make that money. It's an important part of the conversion which is missing.

The quality of work seems high but then what do most people know about someone's "one off"? I wonder how easy it is to insure?

And no hood in the UK is not something I'd entertain. Not just in terms of usability but the fact it demands a permanent garage space so that limits the market to the wealthy with probably a largish house. The fact it hasn't been used much in three years despite the obvious effort and expense invested would seem to indicate that most people would draw a similar conclusion.

The trouble with any highly customized car is the creator then needs to find someone who shares that vision. Any 40 year old car is a specialist item and selling a standard car often isn't easy. I personally reckon it's worth less than if left standard in the same condition.

Would have been nice if they'd put the same, obviously considerable, effort in to restoring a standard car. Would have been worth the same, if not more, and had a vastly broader appeal.
