Has anyone had any experience in fitting OUTER DOOR WEATHERSEALS, as fitted to a P6.and as supplied by Wins.. your comments will be very welcome on both the ease of fitting and the final quality
Thank you Peter , your comments give me encouragement.. I think it will be early next year when I get around to fitting them .. but at least the car will be under cover over that time.. would fit them sooner , along with another 6-8 improvement jobs .. but just recovering from double hernia op, so driving /jobs are out the question for a few weeks ... BUT oh how nice to have those jobs to look forward to ... ITS A 1971 3500 in Corsican Blue .. love of my life !!.. please excuse delays in messages, still getting used to this 'system'
Thank you .. please let me know how you get on .. Pat..
That's the fiddly bit. The seal arrives as a length that has to be trimmed to fit. Getting it absolutely right is not as easy as some of the posts above might suggest. It really depends how much of a perfectionist you are.Just pull the old seal out and use as a template for the new seal.

Scott's Old Rubber of Australia lists them pre-cut so that will be my choice when I finally get my doors sorted.
