Decided at reasonably short notice to head up to this event at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, yesterday.

Sorry about the B&W, I have a new camera and am trying to figure out what it does.

Despite ominous looking weather conditions there was only one approx 15 minute shower to dampen proceedings - a contrast to previous years at this event, some of which have been notorious wash-outs.

Some extreme cars here, the Graber and the Farina convertibles, plus the only existing Tickford drophead (on a very very early car) and the most beautiful Cyclops I've had the pleasure of seeing. Nice!

Great day out, we had five P6's there at various points, including this extremely nice 1969 2000TC, which I've not seen before.

Also good to see you Nidge (Three Thousand Five) in the globetrotting Degsy.

Good to see you too Nick, and thanks for the tip off about the show itself, I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Nice to meet the other P6 owners and chat about their lovely cars

Just finished sorting my pics of the day, will load some up in a bit (I seem to have taken a lot of those fabulous P5s for some, inexplicable reason... !)

Degsy is proving to be a good 'un mate, I've got a few more days out lined up, off to visit some preserved railways in him soon

Nidge.

EDIT.... hopefully a trial pic should appear here....

The second show I took our 110 to (Enfield pageant), I was parked next to one of the Graber convertibles, which I thought was nice for Auntie as she'd been off the road for 20-odd years.
She's now off the road again awaiting some TLC unfortunately.

That looked like a good event, shame I missed it. I really ought to get one of my cars on the road, however what doesn't help me on the car stage is the exams and revision I'm having to go through now. :(

I'd love a P4, but after doing all of the research, there isn't really a comparrison to the P6 in terms of cost and ease of restoration, and maintenance - so far as I understand a rusty chassis is a body off job - especially for the outriggers. So for now, I'm sticking with P6's (I'll always have at least 1) :)

Cheers, Adam.

excellent pics of what looks a great show, some nice looking examples of some fine british engineering there too, :D
