P5B Coupe - what a price!

I would imagine the person in question managed the restoration rather than doing the nuts and bolts himself and that much of that is specialist labour like trimming. Otherwise I'm not sure how you could spend that much.

But a bit over restored. Like you mention whitewalls. I'd add the chrome engine bits, fine if you are doing a hotrod or custom but they just look OTT in this car.

Seats are stunning but again the leather looks soft and modern rather than original.

Still, if the owner wants to do a 1:1 swap....

Looks nice, and clearly has a large wallet.... doesn't mean that he will get that kind of money for it though...
Hope he is not in a hurry. Think the most of I seen a P5b go for over the years was £18K...a beautiful original low milage example, but I suppose you never know!

Think it won a second and third place rosette at the SARR 20132 and 2013. Wonder what trophies it has won?

To be fair the car has had a lot of money spent on it. Could do with minor niggles sorted but thats me being fussy.

Looks very nice to me. I think that the seats look very comfortable, and the carpet looks wonderfully soft and thick.

Ron.

I thought the seats were stunning, just more 1990s than 1960s. In fact they remind me of the Rover 800 Coupe which is no bad thing.

I would love to own this car.

Looks like a tart's boudoir inside ( and not much better outside particularly with those tyres - nor, worse still, under the bonnet ) . And if only 6k was spent on the interior, then it has been done on the cheap . I have been looking for a really nice coupe for years . This is not it

I confess to liking the exterior sable colour scheme and always like thin band white walls on (mint) chrome rostyles.
I am not so keen on the seats / interior - only because they look (as already stated) late 90's Rover / Jag with the piping and 'plump' look.
Overall would not be my weapon of choice for £27 K !
