There's at least 2 on Rudigers list. It always seemed preposterous that Rover offered Zircon and Corsica together which are fairly similar and not a lighter colour like wedgewood (after 66) or darker like admiratly.
On the P5 coupe admiralty and silver birch are just stunning.
I like that picture very much but I can't help feeling it would look a lot better with the narrow S1 stripe...
I regret not having chosen an even darker shade of blue. With hindsight, I should have gone for a midnight blue.
Hi does anyone know paint code for admeralty blue please
Hi thanks midnight blue sounds like an good option am i right in saying they are quite simular shades of blue.Hi, Ahh now there's a question, along the lines of the length of a bit of string. Admiralty Blue is a colour from the 60s, the code for it relates to the formulae for mixing it. Paint mixing schemes have moved on in the way it's formulated weight Vs percentage, so you need to find an old established paint supplier/factors that will have the old charts and or a good mixer (the man) who can mix a close enough batch. If you do that you need to get enough to do the whole vehicle because getting another the same will be nearly impossible. My advice would be to find a modern colour shade, like mrtask's suggestion of Midnight blue, a Jaguar colour, so that repeat mixes will be of a more consistant match.
