Guten Tag zusammen

I would hate to cause anybody any kind of grief, so I am not sure how to address this, but I could not help but thinking about the poor soul that was caught in this:

I don't even know how long ago this has happened.
Can somebody give me an idea of how the driver is doing?

Danke sehr

I have spoke to the chap via email a month ago and he's doing well and seems to be in very good spirits, unfortunately a lady in an oncoming car wasn't so lucky

It turns out the accident was caused by a rotten dedion elbow, and somtimes a visual check isn't good enough

These must be checked preferably by having them blasted, repaired if nessasary and rust protected.

It goes without saying the chap is very lucky to be alive, my car is having its elbows checked next month for my piece of mind. I'm not for one moment saying that everyone's elbows are faulty but id personally not take the risk

As a result of this tragic crash, I got under my car and gave the elbows a good going over with the ball end of a small hammer . Since there were no soft spots, nor any where the sound was dull , I concluded all was well

DANKESCHÖN!

Good to hear that not everything was bad. Pity for the Lady of course... .

One more thing to check!
(Jimmy has been dry-ice-blasted from the underside - I just did not get the chance yet to check how he is doing "down there" :D )

Guten Abend everybody!!
