Not sure why he picked a 2000 frame, unless it is a late 2200 one. The real car uses the V8 frame, with the cutouts in the guards. RobH confirmed this a few years ago on here somewhere
The 66 cars started out with 2000 shells iirc, hence why the replica has started from a 2000 shell.

Sounds sensible but then they would have to make the cutouts etc to match whatever was done to the car...
