Sorry for the delayed reply Warren, I havent checked back for a response in a while! I got the seal from Wadhams, and the rear deck panel I got for free! I bought a P6 in January and the owner had another one that was in a bad way, and told me I could have any parts I wanted off it for free. So I hired a van for the day and made the long journey to him to strip the car of all that was useable, including a solid deck panel :D
 
Ah, I saw the posts about the dead car but hadn't made the connection (not paying enough attention to the poster name). I'm glad you're all sorted out.
