Rudiger,
Japan was one of the 1st countries to adopt exhaust emissions standards + they had a helluva job tuning the Rover V-8 as a New import to pass this test; when I was browsing a UK SU carburettor site recently there were HS6 "Japanese jet needles" listed. The 452 Prefix may well be "Japanese domestic model" which would have been right hand drive, had an uprated "Tropical" radiator, "japanese jets" in the carbs and the curious amber side-indicators on the front guards that only the Japanese cars seem to have ( a legal requirement from about 1970 on ) + Km/Hr Speedo
The P6 2000 was sold here, and the P5, but only as a 6-cylinder car ; I've only ever seen one example of either car
Because of prohibitive import tariffs the P6B with all "bells and whistles" was a whopping 5 Million yen ( ! ) that's almost 45,000 Euros in todays money, and naturally that had a great deal more spending power 35-40 years ago; the price of a comfortable country home + true "Cadillac" money
A P6 would have been an extremely prestigious car to own in its day + no doubt these are changing hands now as they've outlived their owners ( ! )

'67 SC2000, a one-owner car which belongs to a Mr.Suzuki in Setagaya, Tokyo + has been garaged all it's life: "the inboard rear disc brakes have been a curse", but still the only car he's ever owned

gets test driven by CarGraphic magazine here.... the reviewer likes the seats, which he suggests are quite like the Rover 75s, considers the ergonomics of the switches + dash to be intuitive, suggests the steering wheel is not original+ very diplomatically suggests the springs + suspension bushes on this particular car are totally st*ffed...
