Pair of '72 3500S's...

I do like that blue Nige, but that handbrake looks over phallic to me, either the car's running on viagra or the rear brakes need attention!

Another "Marque Specialist" that hasn't got a clue what they're doing. Give them the benefit of the doubt I suppose, maybe the Marque they specialise in isn't Rover..........

Ah yes Nick, I see what you mean! That's a great looking car though, a nice dark colour with S trims and period plates, very ticketyboo.

If the Almond S was mine I'd probably put raised digit / reflective plates on, it's just one of those details that I've always liked.

Looking at these two cars I was just thinking..... they both look the epitome of cool now, but imagine buying them brand new back in '72, I bet they got the neighbours curtains twitching 8)

Nidge

I've wanted a midnight blue metallic paintjob for my V8 P6 for years, but until I saw that ad I had never actually seen a Rover in that colour. It looks really good, if you ask me. That has decided it for me. I'm going to have to get my car repainted in a really dark blue metallic. That is just sooo nice!

I'm tempted by the blue one, didn't realise the colour was non standard.

It is expensive but I've seen a couple for sale at 3k which needed at least 2-3k spending on them to bring them to that standard.

Anyone know the car? what should I be looking for, apart from the handbrake!
