parts - oil filter/service parts

Hi am new to the club & have resently accuired a MK1 2000 P6. Not sure if it has the orignal engine, but it has a cnister type oil filer. I am hoping somebody could help me with locating some service parts which I could obtain locally, I live in watford Herts.The trouble is parts supplers dont have the vehicle listed, but I am sure items such as the oil, air filters, points etc were fitted to other later models. Would be greatfull if anybody could supply any information. Many thanks Kev

Our local factor has a lot of old catalogues & can normally supply most of my servicing needs, sometimes off the shelf. There are Motor factors & there are Motor factors.
There are plenty of mail-order suppliers though so you shouldn't have any trouble.
