Hi all,

just trawling the classifieds and found this rather interesting conversion! The pinto and VW expansion tank stick out, but what other wonders are in there?

It's got PAS, and that Servo/Master Cylinder gives it dual line brakes as well. Gearbox looks like a Five-Speed.

It's always surprising to see how much bigger is the Rover 4 cyl in comparison with other 2 litre engines.

Have to agree. Its actually not a bad conversion.

Was just looking at the add again, hadn't noticed the photo of the boot before. What normally occupies the battery box location in an S1 4 cylinder? Just a flat panel I assume? And I take it the raised floor is to provide a spare wheel well.

Noooooo. I spent most of today trying to sort out the workshop and what is to be my new parts and tool store, I need to do a serious clear out so no more cars for a while! I need to get all the buildings sorted out and my current fleet sorted and don't need the temptation of more P6s! However, there is a 3500 that I need to rescue soon so :roll:
