Hello to you all. I've stumbled across an L registered 2000SC manual that I have been offered for peanuts. Body panels appear fine, along with the boot mounted spare wheel (!). I am aware of the need to check as much of the base unit as possible, there is another fault with the car - there's no drive to the back wheels..!
I'll do the obvious checks to see if the prop shaft is spinning, but I believe it's more than likely clutch related. I've been told that to do anything with the gearbox is a mjor job as the engine needs to be taken out. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and if so, how big a job is it for a P6 virgin embarking on his first classic car..?
