HI all :)
Finishing touches to the old girl now. We have a fresh mot an my new p6 club membership number 2780 so just need some banging tune's lol

Been looking on ebay an there is some bloke in ull selling converted radio's with mp3 connectors. Now i've sat and read all the previous post's on here but gotta say it's all double dutch i don't do electric's i struggle wiring a three pin plug!!!
This bloke does not have any 1070x converted already and can not tell me when he is getting fresh in as he does not do the coversion himself.
Now my question is this. Does any one know how to do it. Can they explian it to a stupid bloke who fixes things with a hammer or does anyone know someone who can perform the act for nominal fee????
Was going to go down the route of posh stereo in the glove box but no where to put any fancy speakers with out chopping up my freshly made door cards.

Cheers

For those without facebook, they will convert your working classic car radio to mp3 for £25 + carriage. Modern amplifier can be fitted for an extra £10 or so, and they'll test/clean/inspect everything and replace dicky wiring where necessary. Email is sugarmountainradios@gmail.com

There are a few pictures of converted radios on their facebook page. I think I might give it a go myself. Too much messing waiting for all the bits to arrive off ebay from China, so I might as well send it off and have them do it. Still, it'd be a shame to miss out on the fun...!

Very interesting. I'd get in quick before he get's too popular & puts his prices up, which I can see happening especially as his prices are reduced for under 25's (which is flagrant ageism   ). Though how he proves your age by post I don't know. :?:

He asks you to recite your seven times table. If you can't do it, you're blatantly under 25!
