I had to have the choke cable replaced while the car was being service on ( cable cost £25 including P & P), when I got the car back with the original choke cable I realise that I could replace the old bowden cable, a trip to the push bike shop, after handing over £2, I had 2 meters of 1.5mm Diameter bowden cable I drilled out the old press markes that held the cable re solder the new cable and now for the cost of £2 I have a new choke cable with original pull handle.
