Gents
We're doing another rear brake job at the moment for a Club member. Trundled the well trodden path to Wins yesterday and picked up two more recon units, only to find when back at the workshop that the handbrake bracket on the 'new' one is considerably different to the original.

I think this one is an early (1966-1968) one - the design slightly changed in 1968?
Am I right??

Here's what a correct one for a 1972 2000TC should look like (-ish, this is one we bought in a load of parts and I think the arms is bit bent).

The incorrect one has now been exchanged for a correct one - can someone just confirm what we're looking at here.

Cheers
Nick

Late one has a stop at both ends of the travel, early only has it at one end. The early one is also cranked out more to clear the large nut on the end of the pivot. You've actually managed to take the picture from pretty much the only angle that doesn't show the difference.

Thanks Harvey.
