Rear mounted turbo

Due to many reasons, I am contemplating the idea of a single rear mounted - behind the rear axle - turbo setup with the carb back there also.

I have thought about all the front mounted everything and it does not suit the application, so not interested in anything about those systems.

Anybody have any experience of such a system, or scientific input ??
