Hi to all CRF-ers ,
So having completed our rally (snapshot) not missing a beat throughout the course (photo), we now have some fettling to do. We've got a list of work, but some to take a step at a time (timing & carbs) and some to just get stuck in (all front suspension bushes)..
On the bodywork, 53 years of Greek sunlight has taken its toll. Nothing illustrates the difference between sheltering under a car port, sun on one side only than the vinyl quarter panels. See the difference on the attached photos. One side, original vinyl in pretty good condition (if a tad stiff & brittle), and the zero vinyl side, with bare metal looking rather sad.
Easy question. That badge on the RHS quarter panel. In an effort to retain the original badge - do we prise it off, or does it release from behind? Is there a particular vinyl that should be used, or do we just match the LHS with some modern cloth and refit the badge on top?
Any tips (or direction to good posts tackling the same problem) very much appreciated.
