rear seat bets - P6 - suitable family transport?

Yes. If you lift the rear parcel mat- thing there are mounting holes underneath. I cant remember if they were static or self rolling up watsit things.
Some one will know.
Hope this helps.
Paul,
The Chairman.
Oh just remembered, i have seen a p6 with inertia (oh thats the word i was looking for) seat belts fitted to the rear. :D

i've got 3 belts in the back of mine, 2 inertia (one each side) and a lap belt in the centre. the inertia reals mount on the parcel shelf. i used belts from my old cavalier.

The only thing is series 1 might not have the mounts fitted, ok if its series 2 but better check they are there before sourceing belts.

Hope this helps

I have fitted inertial belts on the rear decker shelf, there are tapped fittings, I order the belts fromthe local motor factors, be sure you tell them that they are for self mounting as some inertia operation can be affected if you do not mount them in the plane they were intended for, also fitted static lap belt in middle of back seat. The belts are easy to fit. Tony:)

Webmaster,

What model of Cavalier did you get your belts from?

MK1 etc or a reg just to give me an idea. My little Brother is one of the generation that has never travelled in a car without belts all round and has told me that he wont go in the back again until I get belts.
