Red Series 2 in Navan Town Center

So Cal V8

I have been in Ireland for the last two months and I haven't seen any Rovers to speak of, and then today I saw a beautiful red series 2 P6 in Navan town center. It had SD1 alloys, but other than that I didn't see if it was a V8 or a 4 pot. The driver acknowledged my thumbs up as we passed each other, but he could have merely been sorry for me as I was driving a Hyundai Accent. The reg began with ZV, but then I think that applies to any car older than 30 years. Just wondering if it was anyone on here?

You won't see many around, I have no idea when I last saw a P6 on the road here.
Just for info the ZV reg applies to imports over 30 years old. You also have the option of a year related plate i.e. 72 MH xxx

hi i agree with dave, most of the p6's over here seem to be laid to rust, ive seen more in yards and fields rusting away.

last week i came across 3 rovers within 40miles of my house, all well past there best.

i bought a few parts off them,they were a 2200sc,a 2200tc,and a early 2000.

there are a few at classic car shows, but very few every day drivers.

prices are low also, you will get a good driver off a car for around 1000/1200euros.

last p6 i saw driving around was a zv reg'ed 3500 down in kinsale in cork about 3 weeks ago.

the irish like the cars that were assembled here,as in fords, renaults, fiats. there is a big following for these makes.
