Reproduction bumpers in stainless

Re-chroming the originals to good standards (tripleplate) will start at around £600. So this is in the same ballpark.

I will definitely buy this for ETR 290L "Ethel" who is being resprayed and resprung this year - this will enable a cascade of bumpers down the other three cars in my line-up.

They do look really good.
Much better than most 're chromed' bumpers with visible scratching and pits etc.

Mark.

^^^ There were lots of quality control problems with the ones manufactured by that company for the P5B. Brackets welded on in the wrong places, and a mismatch between the profiles of the blades and the overriders so that there were big gaps and misalignment between them, so caveat emptor.

Colin Gould has them for the p6. I'm led to believe they're good.

That would be nice, as I reckon there's a good market for them, especially as rechroming will sooner or later be outlawed on environmental grounds.

chris york has them on lucky, but he hasn't been in the country to comment since they were done...
