My reserve tap is at the back . I had to do the o-ring whilst on my back and it was a breeze , cept for a bit of high octane running down to the armpit.
on the V8 it is simple, take off the air filter and you have plenty of access.
I have done it before, the pipe fittings should come off easy enough as should the retaining nut.
if you are careful you can remove the valve by taking on the small slot head srew out and it just pulls out. would put something under the car or tap to catch it incase you drop it.
Raise the front of the car to minimise petrol escaping.
Oh, joy! An experience best watched happening to someone else. Particularly on a hot day...cept for a bit of high octane running down to the armpit.
