Hi, i had discussion with the painter , i read on this forum the best way is respray every part dismanteled from car.
But he don't want it , now he want spray every thing seperate in primer, inside finish paint and on de sides, into the car at the door aria finish paint and a piece round the windows, then built the car complete inside and windows , make every thing in line and after that respray everyting in 1 time. Offcourse the piece at the heather , under bonnet and piece front of the radiator separate.
What do you think? Shall i do it his way? or mine and spray everything seperate?

Are the small switches for interieur light located at the door posts painted with the car? because i also want paint behind the switches.

Hi Hans.

In my opinion and ive just done mine, fit all the panels to make sure they align, make a note of any shims and where they are needed, remove the panels and paint all the panels off the car except for the roof.
And then fit the door glass and frames, rubbers, locks, seals, handles etc
Even if he does them 3 or 4 at a time,as the door to wing rubber seals will need to be fitted after the paint, unless you paint them as well, and then the paint will crack!
Int light switches on pillars should be removed and refitted after paint is well dry.

hi,
i have done it both ways with the roof, if you are keeping the car, take the roof off or the paint will eventually lift.
