Roof trim.

Greetings all,

How does one go about removing and replacing the stainless steel roof trim on a P6B :?:
I need to remove the trim from a donor vehicle to donate to a fellow owner but I do not want to damage it in any way.

I have done it with a piece of wood and an hammer,an good piece of wood to the trim ( i was sitting in the car) and with the hammer to the wood.
