Maybe his logic is that every car that goes to the crusher is potential sale for himseeing as the rover dealer we use at work told me my car should be in the crusher lol

Its a Honda wearing a Rover badge,similar to the Triumph Acclaim thats not a real Triumph!
The last real rover was the SD1 and they made a mess of that,so they turned to Honda for help!!
Its one of the reasons Rover eventually went t##s up!
From a great plethora of excellent british manufacturers to being invaded by foreign makers building in britain,and little or no real british car makers for the masses left!!
A classic for me doesnt always mean 25+yrs old,its a combination of the maker,the design,the innovation,the 1st production use of a new idea.
Many cars of the 80's and 90's whatever make they may be,are,or soon will be regarded as classics because they have survived banger status,and if you can still get the spares,they will be relatively rare!
