Rover 3500 S at scrap yard

Hi All,

Just in case anyone is interested I have seen a K reg Rover 3500 S manual at a scrapyard in Bedfordshire. The bloke tells me that the engine and gearbox have been sold and that he is going to break the rest up later in the week. I bought the gearstick, sills, rear lenses, and indicator arm switches for mine. Other than that much of the interior is in bits but seems to be all there. I was not able to get underneath to check for rot as I have bad knees. Sadly I did not have a camera with me to take pictures.

It was a brown coloured cloth with a lighter carpet. I'm sorry but I dont know the name of the colours. I did notice that some of the seats were not in good condition as one had a hole in going into the foam. Sorry I couldn't have gotten any photos :(

And no headrests.
 
Perhaps give the owner of the yard a ring? He did say he used to have a P6 on the road and seems pretty knowledgeable about them. He might be better describing the colours than I am.
