Rover dealerships list

Michael, the date stamp you mention that is 12/71 Dec 71.

In my experience in industry its far more common to use WEEK/YEAR nomenclature rather than MONTH/YEAR. I would imagine Rover were producing hundreds of cars a week / thousands of cars a month. Suppliers would have been delivering parts on a daily/weekly basis. I don't think MONTH/YEAR would have been much use to them as a way of tying down parts to a particular batch or delivery.

That is the Woodford Dealership.
It was known as Standard House and had franchises at various times for Standard/Triumph, Morris/MG/Wolseley and Rover/Land Rover
It was at Southend Road, close to Charley Brown's roundabout.
All long gone now, and difficult to locate after redevelopment.

Found the March 1964 Version of that list in my collection. (came with the 65 200SC) It is labelled "British Isles Edition"
Found the March 64 one as well in paperwork that came with my 64 wedgie. It's pretty interesting to look at the worldwide distributors and see some of the countries with dealers!! Second on the list Afghanistan

Thanks John it's good to know it's the proper dealership :D I'll keep looking for an actual picture but nothing seems to show up on Google images at least cheers Tam.
EDIT : Tried searching "Standard House Woodford" and found a couple of old images so getting there !!
Sorry for the hijack Michael but as I say the Dealer was on my Heritage certificate maybe I just got lucky when they did RKP??
