Steve Benyon, RP6C Branch Meeting Co-Ordinator, has long been planning a Manchester meet, and is now ready to launch having found a suitable venue.

Starting Friday 9th December at 7.30pm at Meeting Room 4, The Premier Inn, Runger Lane, Wilmslow Road, Manchester Airport, M90 5DL.

There is a Bar/Restaurant on site, and Steve will be running a quiz (with prizes) on the first night (attendees at the Chester Branch will know how good Steve is at these).

All are welcome.

For more info ring Steve on 07988 112883.

Thanks folks
Nick

Everyone is welcome to the meeting we are very excited about starting the new meeting. It gives us all a chance to meet up and discuss all things rover. Not just p6 but when we say everyone we mean everyone involved in classic motoring. The quiz will not be too difficult but is designed to be thought prevokeing and informitive. If you are interested in getting involved in the running of your branch you are more than welcome as any help is welcomed with open arms. Stephen

Hi all great meeting guys, thank you to everyone who turned up last night. It was great to meet you. And am already looking forward to seeing you next month all rover owners welcome. Stephen

Meet went well, let's get a few more in and get it established. Venue is really good so well done to Steve, the quiz mmmmmmm happy to say Steve paired everyone up which was good, could blame your partner for wrong answers. Ok we didn't win, but isn't it the taking part that counts
Looking forward to the next one think it's for Jan 13 2012 7:30 PM. So put it in your diary now. Cheers, Mick

Hi Guy's

sorry i had to jib out on Friday, had a delivery of 3 ton bags sand & chippings plus a pallet of blocks Thursday, along with two pallets of 4" thick flags, then another 3 pallets of flags on the Friday, to say I was jiggered would be an understatement. Ended up taking the wife and daughter out for a meal locally after we had finished shifting all this stuff, that was the problem we couldn't leave it all where the contractors had dumped it so we had to hand ball it to where we were going to use it.
On the plus side, got some seats for 'Chatterbox' and have given her a service and a computer tune, she runs really well, though she is down on compression on cylinder number 1, 120 as opposed to 150 on the others, still I might risk Beamish.

regards

Ian
